Kishtwar, July 19 (GNS): A cloudburst struck the Surnoo (Kiyar) area of Dachhan in Kishtwar district on Sunday, triggering flash floods that damaged property and agricultural land in the region.
According to initial reports, there has been no loss of human life in the incident.
Officials told GNS two cow sheds were damaged in the cloudburst. Agricultural land in the area also suffered extensive damage due to the sudden rush of water and debris.
The local administration has taken note of the damage and an assessment of losses is underway. Relief and restoration teams have been mobilized to the affected area.
