Srinagar, July 1: The price of commercial LPG cylinders has been reduced by ₹183.50 with effect from July 1, bringing significant relief to restaurants, hotels, dhabas and other commercial establishments across the country.

According to reports, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been reduced to ₹2,930, down from the earlier rate of ₹3,113.

The latest reduction comes after a series of hikes in commercial LPG prices in recent weeks, driven by supply concerns amid the Iran conflict and the broader West Asia crisis.

The price cut is expected to lower operational costs for businesses dependent on commercial LPG, particularly in the hospitality and food service sectors.

There has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders, with the latest revision applying only to commercial LPG cylinders. (JKNS)
