Jammu, Sep 9 : Constable Pardeep Sharma, popularly known as Cheeku, who was part of the J&K Police Central Sports Football Team, passed away following a sudden cardiac arrest, officials said on Tuesday.
As per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Sharma was a valued member of the police football squad and had represented the force in several tournaments.
Police colleagues and fellow sportspersons expressed deep shock over his untimely demise, remembering him as a dedicated player and committed policeman.
Condolences poured in from the sports fraternity and J&K Police, who described his death as a big loss to football community. (KNC)
