Directs expeditious resolution of issues to increase pace of execution
KUPWARA, APRIL 06: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, today convened a meeting to review the progress of the Rafiabad–Kupwara–Chowkibal–Tangdar–Chamkote (RKCTC) National Highway-701 project.
At the outset, OC 109 RCC BEACON apprised the Deputy Commissioner of the latest developments and milestones achieved under the project so far.


The DC underscored the strategic significance of the RKCTC road, noting its pivotal role in enhancing connectivity and catalysing economic growth across Kupwara district.
He directed all concerned departments to maintain seamless inter-departmental coordination and ensure the timely removal of impediments obstructing project execution.


The Deputy Commissioner further instructed the executing agencies to intensify the pace of work and adhere strictly to the stipulated timelines. He directed joint site inspections by all concerned officers to on-the-spot resolution of issues arising during the construction process.


The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Superintending Engineers of PHE and R&B, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Officer Commanding 109 RCC BEACON, Executive Engineers of various departments, concerned Tehsildars, and other officers and officials.
