Necessary Measures Put in Place to Ensure Fool-proof Elections: SSP Ambarkar Jahangir Lolabi Kupwara, Dec 16: Sogam block in Kupwara witnessed a poll percentage of 59.65 in concluded Phase-VII of ongoing District Development Council elections on Wednesday. An official told Kashmir Glory that the whole process went smoothly as no untoward incident was reported from anywhere in the block. “Off the total 31027 voters registered in the block, 18518 votes were polled at the conclusion of the penultimate phase”, the official said. Meanwhile SSP Kupwara Shriram Ambarkar who visited the area to assess on-ground situation maintained that the administration has put in place all necessary arrangements and measures to see fool-proof elections.
