He said the decision has brought relief not only to the family of the MP but also to those closely following the matter, adding that “judicial wisdom ensures humanity is not lost in procedural rigidity.”

Inam Un Nabi stated that the ruling reinforces the belief that courts are not only interpreters of law but also protectors of human values and dignity.

He further said that allowing an elected representative to meet his ailing father highlights the compassionate side of justice, calling it a reminder that democratic institutions must remain sensitive to human suffering.

Reiterating AIP’s stand, he said empathy must remain an integral part of governance and justice delivery, adding that the party remains hopeful for continued fairness in the legal process ahead. (KNC)
