Srinagar, Feb 8 : A Truck driver lost his life in a tragic accident in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday after his own truck rolled back while he was repairing it on the roadside.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the truck was parked along NH-44 near the Nipora–Vessu stretch when it suddenly moved backwards and ran over the driver of the same truck, killing him on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Saqib Mohammad, son of Sadiq Mohammad Bakal, a resident of Udhampur.
Police has taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (KNC)
