Srinagar, Dec 24 (GNS): A paramilitary CRPF trooper died on Thursday, a day after suffering grave injured in a grenade blast in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said.
A police officer told GNS that the CRPF trooper identified as Constable Mritun Joy succumbed this evening at SKIMS Soura, a tertiary care hospital here.
The trooper was seriously injured in a grenade blast at Tawheed Chowk Ganderbal along with three other personnel, a policemen and an RDD official. All the injured were shifted to hospital immediately while police registered a case regarding the incident. (GNS)
