12-Year-Old Missing Since Saturday; Body Recovered From Nearby Field in Galwanpora
Budgam, May 24:(KNC)Shock and grief gripped Galwanpora village in central Kashmir’s Budgam after a 12-year-old girl, who had gone missing on Saturday, was found dead in a nearby field on Sunday morning, officials said.
According to officials, the minor girl had reportedly gone missing on Saturday, following which her family members and local residents launched a massive search operation in the area.
The body of the girl was later recovered from a nearby field in Galwanpora village, triggering panic and mourning among residents.
Meanwhile, police teams rushed to the spot soon after the incident came to light and took cognizance of the matter. Legal proceedings have been initiated while further investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.(KNC)
