Srinagar, Sep 28: The Health & Medical Education Department has categorically denied allegations of diverting funds allocated for Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara, asserting that all financial operations are being executed with complete transparency and discipline.
Ina statement issued by The Health & Medical Education Department as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC refutes allegations of diverting funds meant for Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara.
The department has detailed fund utilization for both GMC Udhampur and GMC Handwara, which are credited into a single SNA (Single Nodal Agency) account, it reads.
Pertinently the funds are being utilized strictly as per the Central Share released respectively for these two colleges by GoI ,without any diversion, maintaining the highest financial discipline as per guidelines, reads the statement. (KNC)
