Srinagar/Jammu, Dec 14: Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board on Monday removed an encroachment in Chan Gran Housing Colony in Kathua district of Jammu division.
An official part of the Housing Board team told Kashmir Glory that the department alongside Revenue and Police departments’ Kathua removed an encroachment in the Housing Colony made by one Pratap Singh son of Late Dharam Chand.
The encroacher, as per the official, had erected poles with barbed at the venue in a bid to encroach on the colony land.
The removal has costed us (Housing Board) a sum of total Rupees ninety five thousand and five hundred, the official said adding that they have written the law-enforcement agencies to recover the same from the erring person. (KGNN)
