In an order issued on July 31, 2026, bearing No. HQ-WS/SWR/116/2026-33, the PHQ accorded sanction for the grant of ₹5,50,000/- from the Contributory Welfare Fund of SPOs to the dependents/legal heirs of Late SPO Khursheed Ahmad Najar.

As per the order, SPO Khursheed Ahmad Najar, No 434 SPO, son of Gh Mohammad Najar, resident of Sumbal Sonawari, Tehsil and District Bandipora, posted with District Police Bandipora, expired on April 7, 2026, due to a road accident during the course of his engagement.
