SRINAGAR, May 10: In a major anti-narcotics operation, Anantnag Police on Saturday carried out simultaneous raids at multiple identified locations linked to alleged drug kingpins across the district.
Officials said the searches are being conducted with the assistance of specially trained K9 squads to detect narcotics and other incriminating material during the operation.
The large-scale crackdown is part of the ongoing drive against drug trafficking and narcotics networks in the district. Police said the operation is currently underway and further details regarding recoveries and action taken will be shared later.(KNC)
