KAS Association to donate day’s salary to govt’s Covid-19 relief fund

Srinagar, Mar 28 (GNS): The KAS Association has decided to contribute one day’s salary towards J&K Government’s Relief Fund aimed at tackling the challenge posed by spread of coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic.

“This contribution is a humble gesture of support of the KAS officers towards the government in its fight against the disease and a manifestation of the commitment of every officer to work towards welfare of people of J&K,” the Association said in a statement to GNS.

It said the amount will be contributed by the KAS officers towards J&K Government’s Relief Fund through its Lieutenant Governor for its utilisation towards the welfare of people of J&K at this crucial juncture. (GNS)
