Srinagar, Jun 26: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Friday appreciated the Lieutenant Governor-led administration and Jammu and Kashmir Bank for launching two loan schemes for the people of newly-crafted Union Territory.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Glory, the trade body detailed out that the Governor and Jammu & Kashmir Bank management for launching two loan schemes viz. J&K Bank Business Support Loan Scheme 2019-20 under circular no: 17-198; J&K Bank Business Support Loan Scheme 2019-20 for Hotels & Guest Houses.
“We request J&K Bank Branch Managers to help and guide the borrowers to avail the facilities in these schemes”, the statement reads adding “We hope that other issues raised by the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry would also be resolved and urge to announce the revival package at the earliest.”
The trade-body has meanwhile urged Hon’ble Lt. Governor G.C Murmu for issuance of necessary directions with regard to the lowering of electricity fees, municipal charges and other taxes and charges which the business community especially shopkeepers, hotels, houseboats and restaurant owners, and our Industrial Sectors, paying since August, 2019 onwards.
