Jammu, Sep 07 (GNS): Police have arrested six members of the ‘Khouf Gang’ and recovered a pistol and sharp-edged weapons from their possession in Arnia area of Jammu.
Officials told GNS that on September 03, the gang members, residents of Bishnah, had threatened one Ashwani Kumar at Kool Kalan by displaying a pistol and tokkas.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, Police Station Arnia registered a case and started investigation. All the six accused were apprehended today.
During search, police recovered one pistol along with a magazine, three live rounds and five tokkas from their possession.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain their involvement in other criminal activities, police said.(GNS)
