Kupwara, July 19 (GNS):The Kupwara district administration has issued a weather advisory following a forecast of inclement weather by the Meteorological Centre Srinagar from July 19 to July 23, 2026.
As per the advisory, a copy which lies with GNS states that people residing in Keran, Karnah, Machil, Budnamal, Jumugund, Nowgam, Kumkadi and those living near nallahs, rivers and hilly areas prone to landslides and flash floods are advised not to venture into these areas till the weather improves
Tourists, travellers and transporters have been asked to check road conditions before travelling to hilly areas of the district
