Srinagar, May 27 (GNS): Militants managed to escape after brief exchange of fire with police and security forces in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday, officials said.
“After initial brief encounter during a cordon and search operation in Gundpora Rampora area of Bandipora, militants managed to escape from the spot,” police said in a statement, adding, “However, our team is chasing them. Further details shall follow.”(GNS)
