Srinagar, Feb 8 (GNS): A number of people working as Mid-Level Healthcare Providers (MLHP) from Srinagar on Monday alleged that they have been “singled-out” in providing the annual five percent increment.
“MLHP working in all other 19 districts of Jammu and Kashmir were provided the annual 5% increment in April 2020 but due to unknown reasons we have been singled out and so far not paid the increment which is otherwise long due,” they said and urged the concerned authorities to look into the issue and address it on priority so that the staff does not feel there is disparity among the equals.
Despite repeated attempts by GNS, director NHM could not be contacted for his comments. (GNS)
