Srinagar, May 04: Mohammed Ashraf Hakak on Monday assumed charge as Director Estates Kashmir, succeeding Ashwani Kumar Khajuria.
The charge was handed over at the Directorate office in the presence of senior officers and officials of the department.
After taking over, Hakak outlined his priorities, emphasising transparent governance, efficient administration, and a citizen-centric approach. He stressed the need for timely service delivery and effective management of government assets to strengthen public trust and institutional performance.
Outgoing Director Ashwani Kumar Khajuria extended his best wishes to Hakak and expressed confidence in his ability to carry forward the responsibilities of the department.
Officials said the transition is expected to bring renewed focus on accountability, efficiency, and improved public service delivery in the Estates Department Kashmir.
