Anantnag, July 19 (GNS): A motorcyclist died after his bike collided with a Maruti vehicle in Arhama area of Kokernag on Sunday.
Officials told GNS that the accident took place when the motorcycle and a Maruti car, registration number not yet known, came into collision.
The deceased has been identified as Zaishan-ul-Nabi, son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat, resident of Arhama, Kokernag.
He was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (GNS)
