Srinagar, May 20 (GNS): As many as 358 KAS officers have failed to submit details for processing of Annual Performance Reports (APRs) on SPARROW platform despite instructions by the government. Twenty others have filed incomplete details, officials said.

As per order issued by the government, all the officers have now been given “last opportunity” of three days culminating on May 21.

“Despite the lapse of considerable time, the requisite information has not been received in respect of 358 officers while as 20 officers have provided incomplete particulars”, reads the order issued by Under Secretary Shuaib Mohammad Naikoo.

“This non-serious response on the part of the officers has resulted into delay in the processing of APRs on the SPARROW platform and the same has been viewed seriously,” the order adds, as per global news service. The officers who have furnished incomplete information are holding the posts of Managing Director, Director, Joint Director and Joint Commissioner etc.

All the officers were required to submit the complete details by March 20 this year as per the circular issued by the government.

“In order to enable the process go online, the data of officers is required to be customized with the Personal Information Management System (PIMS). Since various mandatory fields required for the purpose are not available with the General Administration Department, all the members of the J&K Administrative Service are directed to submit the information (by March 20),” the circular reads.
