One Dies, 5 Sustain Injuries In Road Mishap In Tutail

Bandipora, Nov 19 (GNS): A person died and five on-board passengers received injuries after a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road in Tulail area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday evening.

Reports reaching GNS that a Tata Sumo (JK-15 2335) skidded off the road near Check-Nallah Burnei area of Tulail resulting in on-spot death of a person and injuries to five other on-board passengers.

The deceased has been identified as Najm-u-Din son of Sher Khan residence Gujran while as the five injured persons have been identified as Rehmatullah Lone son of Mohammad Javaid Lone, Abdul Gaffar Lone son of Abdul Jabbar Lone, Zahoor Khan son of Mohammad Munnawar Khan, Farooq Ahmad Lone son of Abdul Samad Lone, Zahoor Ahmad Khan son of Abdul Majeed Khan, residents of Gurjan and Mohammad Sultan Lone son of Mohammad Munnawar Lone residence of Mazgund Tulail.

A police official confirming the incident to GNS said that a team was rushed to the spot as part of rescue operations.All the injured persons, as per the official, were removed to a local health facility, where all of them are said to be responding well to the treatment.

“A case is underway to ascertain cause of the accident”, the official added. (GNS)
