Ganderbal: Shakeel Ahmad Rather, Zonal president PDP Ganderbal, has demanded immediate renovation and restoration of all heritage sites in the central Kashmir district.
Among others, he said, there immediate need to restore the glory of the centuries-old Akhund Mulla Shah mosque Malshai Bagh Ganderbal, mosque of Syed Ahmad Shrazi (RA) Nunnar, historical Eidgah at Duderhama Ganderbal and Mughal Sarai Naraine Bagh.
The statement, received by GNS, comes a day after the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir directed the Deputy Director, Archives Kashmir to provide within two days the list of important historical sites to the Superintending Engineer, PWD(R&B), Ganderbal which need revival/restoration.
