Police apprehends 02 gamblers in Ganderbal; Stake money & playing cards seized

April 16: In a continued drive against social evils and illegal activities, Police in Ganderbal have apprehended 02 persons involved in gambling in the jurisdiction of PS Ganderbal.

The apprehended individuals have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Aziz Dar & Naseer Ahmad Bhat son of Gh Qadir Bhat, both residents of Khun-Harran Ganderbal. During the operation, stake money amounting to Rs 2300/- along with a deck of playing cards was recovered.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 57/2026, under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Ganderbal.

J&K Police reiterates its commitment to maintaining public order and urges citizens to cooperate with the police by reporting any illegal activities in their surroundings.
