May 01: In a firm move to combat drug misuse and ensure regulatory compliance, Police in Baramulla, in coordination with the Drug Department, sealed two medical shops at Sharkwara for serious violations. One shop was found operating without a valid licence, while another (Hakeem Medicate) was sealed for failing to adhere to prescribed Standard Operating Procedures.

This action reflects the administration’s zero-tolerance approach towards the misuse of pharmaceutical substances and its commitment to enforcing strict legal standards across all medical establishments. Authorities have warned that any violations of norms will result in stringent action.
