February 09: Police in Pulwama have achieved a significant breakthrough in FIR No. 18/26 registered under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) by recovering stolen property and arresting the accused involved in the commission of crime.

                   During the course of investigation, the stolen property (cable), which had been stolen by unknown offenders, was successfully recovered. The vehicles used in the commission of the crime, bearing registration numbers JK03H-3944 (Tata Mobile) and JK13H-7042 (Chota Hathi), have also been seized.

                   The accused involved in the commission of the crime has been identified as Muzafar Ahmad Padroo son of Abdul Rashid Padroo resident of Bandepora. He has been arrested in the instant case. Further investigation is ongoing to ascertain additional facts and possible involvement of other persons.

                   Police remain committed to ensuring the safety of public property and taking strict action against those involved in criminal activities.
