Umar Rashid Srinagar, June 19:(GNS) Four more militants have been killed as the encounter enterere into the second day in Bandpaho area of Imam Sahib in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday. Official sources told GNS that total of five militants have been killed so far. However, he said, the identity of the slain militants was yet to be ascertained. Pertinently the operation had started yesterday (Thursday)in which one militant was killed and was suspended due to darkness. As the first ray of light came in, the operation was resumed by the forces. Meanwhile the total number of 22 militants have been killed all alone in Shopian district this month including some commanders so far. Mobile Internet has been also suspended in the Shopian district for precautionary measures.
