Srinagar, Nov 5 (GNS): Unknown gunmen on Thursday shot dead a shopkeeper and injured a cab driver in two separate incidents in Pulwama district of south Kashmir. Official sources told GNS that the unknown gunmen shot dead the shopkeeper in Tral town of the district. They said the gunmen fired upon the shopkeeper Mohammad Ayoub Ahangar son of Ghulam Ahmad Ahangar of Tral near his hometown. Ahangar was taken to hospital but was declared dead before arrival, a police officer told GNS. Later, the gunmen shot at and injured a cab driver at Wanpora, Kakapora. Official sources told GNS that cab (Tavera vehicle) driver namely Mohammad Aslam of Kaapora was fired upon by the unknown militants. Aslam, who was hit in the arm, was shifted to SDH Pampore where his condition is stated to be stable, the officials said.
