Srinagar, Oct 13 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday ordered that Talat Parvez Rohella (KAS), Commissioner Secretary Higher Education Department, shall be overall incharge at Lakhanpur to oversee the movement of passengers, ensure fast testing and smooth flow of entry and exit of vehicles.
“In view of the emerging situation due to Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic and in the interest of administration, Talat Parvez Rohella, KAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, shall, in addition to his Own duties, be the overall incharge at Lakhanpur to oversee the movement of passengers, ensure fast testing and smooth flow of entry & exit of vehicles,” reads a government order, a copy of which lies with GNS. “Arun Kumar Manhas, KAS, Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, in addition to his own duties, shall assist Talat Parvez Rohelia,” the order said, adding, “The officers shall remain stationed at Lakhanpur, with immediate effect, till further orders.” (GNS)
