Anantnag, May 14 : A teenage boy belonging to a nomadic community was found dead in the High Ground Sarnal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday evening.
Officials told KNC that the deceased has been identified as Mohammad Majid Doyi, son of Mohammad Iqbal Doyi, a resident of Kandyal Katra.
They said the youth was found hanging outside his temporary residential shelter in the area.
Soon after the incident, police teams rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for medico-legal formalities.
Police have initiated further investigation into the incident. (KNC)
