Teen from Ganderbal injured in road accident, critical at SKIMS Soura

Srinagar, Aug 29: A 17-year-old boy from Ganderbal was critically injured in a road accident at Shilwat area on Friday and is undergoing treatment at SKIMS Soura.

The injured has been identified as Shoib Dar, son of Mohammad Shahnawaz Dar, a resident of Nawab Bagh Ganderbal.

Local sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust, that Shoib was crossing the road at Shilwat when a Maruti 800 car hit him, leaving him severely injured. He was first shifted to JVC Bemina and later referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.

Hospital sources confirmed that the boy has sustained a serious head injury and his condition is being closely monitored by doctors. [KNT]
