Srinagar 22 March : A 48-year-old man drowned in the Babdemb area of Srinagar in central Kashmir on Sunday, officials said.
According to authorities, the unconscious man was initially taken to JLNM Hospital Rainawari before being shifted by a police team to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The incident reportedly occurred near Dawood Bridge in the Munawar Abad area of Babdemb. The deceased, a resident of Gasi Mohallah, Safakadal, Srinagar, was approximately 48 years old.
Police have registered the case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning. (KNC)
