Jammu, Feb 20 : The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday relieved three IAS officers from the Union Territory following their transfer orders issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

As per separate Orders issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah (IAS, AGMUT: 2012) has been relieved from J&K consequent upon his transfer to Chandigarh.

Sh. Santosh D. Vaidya (IAS, AGMUT: 1998) has been relieved following his transfer to Delhi, while Sh. Baseer Ul Haq Chaudhary (IAS, AGMUT: 2015) has been relieved after being transferred to Ladakh.

The officers have been relieved with immediate effect from the afternoon of February 20, 2026, enabling them to join their new places of posting.

The orders were issued by the General Administration Department under the directions of the Lieutenant Governor. (KNC)
