490 new cases take J&K’s covid-19 tally past 12000 Mark

Srinagar, July 16 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday reported 490 new covid-19 infections, taking the overall tally past 12000 mark. Among the fresh cases include 89 from CRPF and 10 from army’s
BB Cant here.

Officials said that 62 cases were reported from Jammu and 428 from Kashmir Valley even as 109 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals.

Giving district-wise details, official sources told GNS Srinagar reported 259 cases, Baramulla 18, Kulgam 21, Shopian 42, Anantnag 6, Kupwara 3, Pulwama 32, Budgam 34, Bandipora 2 and Ganderbal 11.

Similarly, they said, Jammu reported 14 new infections, Udhampur 3, Kathua 2, Rajouri 33, Samba 8 and Doda 2. (GNS)
