Srinagar, Apr 28 : Five persons were arrested with grenades, ammunition and other incriminating material in Srinagar, police said on Tuesday.
The arrests were made by a police party from PP Khanmoh during checking at Nard Sangri in the Khanmoh area
A top Police officer told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said two hand grenades, two magazines, some rounds of ammunition, posters and six mobile phones were recovered from their possession.
A case under relevant sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act has been registered at Panthachowk police station.
