Kupwara, April 20 (GNS): The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Karnah Dr Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat, today ordered partial resumption of Agricultural activities in the sub division, in compliance with the government order.
To facilitate the farmers, in this regard 100 quintal of Hybrid Maize seeds were distributed among the farmers of three agricultural zones of Tangdar, Gabbra and Chamkote while the seeds were home delivered in Red Zone area of Bagbella, buffer zones of Shamspora and Budwan.
The SDM informed that 60 quintal of Red Rice has been delivered already. The vegetables seeds including Broccoli, lettuce, Tomatoes, Capsicum and Chilli has already been distributed among the farmers of Tangdar and Teetwal blocks.
Regarding the fertilizers, the SDM has ordered early distribution of fertilizers in Red Zones through five registered dealers and one Cooperative unit. The fertilizers will be delivered at the doorsteps of farmers in these areas. (GNS)
