Srinagar, Oct 24 (GNS): National Conference president and parliamentarian Farooq Abdullah accused BJP of spreading false propaganda that People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration was anti-national.
“I want to tell you that it is false propaganda by the BJP that the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration is anti-national. I want to tell them that this is not true. There is no doubt that it is anti-BJP but it is not anti-national,” Farooq told reporters after the meeting here.
“An attempt has been made to divide the nation, breaking the Federal structure. Last year we saw on August 5, the constitution was destroyed and federal structure was hit,” he said as per GNS correspondent.
“I want to tell him we are not anti National alliance. We aim at restoring the rights of the people of J&K and Ladakh. Those who are trying to divide us in the name of religion will never succeed and will fail.” (GNS)
