3 Paramilitary Men Among 234 Fresh Covid-19 Cases In J&K

Srinagar, Dec 29 (GNS): Six travelers, three paramilitary CRPF and BSF personnel besides two minors were among 234 fresh covid-19 infections reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, taking the total case tally to 120527, officials said on Tuesday.  

Among them, 103 are from Jammu Division and 131 from Kashmir Valley, they said officials told GNS.

Giving district-wise details, Srinagar reported 69 cases, Baramulla 6, Budgam 15, Kupwara 4, Pulwama 21, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 3, Kulgam 1, Shopian 4, Jammu 65, Udhampur 5, Rajouri 5, Doda 3, Kathua 11, Kishtwar 0, Samba 3, Poonch 3, Ramban 7 and Reasi 1.

A number of these cases were confirmed at SKIMS Soura and GMC Anantnag’s diagnostic laboratory.

The GMC Anantnag cases include male (18) from Kuchmulla, male (16) from Lam, male (32) from Batagund, male (42) and female (50) from Khangund Aripal, female (35) and male (26) from Narastan Aripal, male (30) from Uttersoo, male (27) from Trahpoo, male (58) from Zawoora, male (29) from Chanchmarg Keller Spn, male (78) from Darbuagh.

SKIMS Cases

The BSF cases include male (51) from Ch BSF Humhama Srinagar.

The Budgam cases include male (40) from Potladden, male (50) from Hufroo Nagam, male (48) from Kakawring, female (45) from Zagipora, male (38) from Nasrullahpora, male (25) from Narbal, male (75) from Gund Kunzer, male (35) from Agrikalan Pattan, male (27) from Gund Dalwash Kunzer Budgam.

The CRPF cases include two males (47, 30) from 61 Bn Crpf Shivpora Srinagar.

The Ganderbal cases include female (60) from Batapora Ganderbal.

The Srinagar cases include male (35) from Baghat, two females (80, 45) from Chanapora, female (50) from Srinagar, female (24) and male (28) from Rawalpora, female (28) from Rangpora, male (82) and female (80) from Ali Jan Road, male (43) from Nawakadal, female (68) from Badashah, male (29) from Radio Colony, two females (29, 25) and male (38) from Lal Bazar, male (02) from Peerbagh, female (26) from Soura, male (50) from Hawal, female (23) from Shalimar, male (29) from Lal Bazar, female (30) and male (02) from Rawalpora, female (60) from Soura, male (57) from Peerbagh, male (40) from Soura, female (65) from Buchpora Srinagar.

The Anantnag cases include male (60) from Pahalgam Anantnag.

The Baramulla cases include female (49) from Yarbugh Baramulla.

The Pulwama cases include male (40) and female (45)!from Pampore Pulwama.

Moreover, they said, 299 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals 159 from Jammu Division and 140 from Kashmir.  (GNS)
