Jammu, March 26 (GNS): A student was killed in accident involving a bike in Rajouri district on Friday, officials said.
They said at about 1:15 p.m., the accident took place in Manjakote area of the district, leading to injuries to two persons riding the bike.
They were shifted to GMC Rajouri where one was them was declared dead on arrival while another has been admitted in critical condition. The deceased student has been identified as Mohammad Atiq son of Mohammad Shoket of Dheri Dhara in District rajouri in manjakote.
A police officer told GNS a case (FIR No.35/2021) under section 279 and 337 IPC has been registered and investigation taken up.
The deceased student has been identified as Mohammad Atiq son of Mohammad Shoket of Dheri Dhara in Manjakote. SDPO Manjakote Nisar Khoja when contacted confirmed the accident and said that investigations have been started after the filling of the case. (GNS)
