CJM Directs for Maintaining Status Quo

Anantnag, April 01: (GNS) Chief Judicial Magistrate Anantnag has directed the parties to ‘Compartmentalization of Anantnag Bus Stand’ matter, before it, to maintain status quo till next hearing.
Relying on contentions as prayed by the applicants, the Court in its order, of which a copy lies with GNS, has observed that, “After hearing Learned Counsel for the applicant in exparte, I am satisfied that the applicants have established a prima-facie case and balance of convenience also tilts in their (applicant) favour. In my opinion if the relief as prayed for is not granted at this stage, the applicants shall suffer an irreparable loss.”
Directing the parties to maintain status quo, the Court asked the applicants “to ensure that material relied upon is served to other side within one week and a service affidavit to the same be produced before the court. “However non-applicants shall be at liberty to apply for modification of this order even before next date of hearing – put on 3-4-2021.” (GNS)
