All the officers of the line departments have been asked to ensure the availability of basic facilities including food grains, L.PG, medicines etc in the Red and buffer zones. “They shall promptly respond to medical emergencies and the concerned BMO shall dedicate one ambulance for the Red Zone area.”

The DM also asked the concerned BMO to conduct survey of co-morbid and old age (above 60yrs) people in the area and ensure their sampling in co-ordination with administrator and assisting officials. “Consequently report to COVID-19 Control Room CMO Office Kupwara on daily basis,” the order reads, adding, “The concerned SHO shall ensure barricading at all the entry points to the Red Zone to prevent inward and outward movement without valid pass issued by Administrator and fumigation of Vehicles of other essential services departments allowed to enter for Public Service delivery.” (GNS)
