Poonch, July 27 (GNS): A prominent Medical Complex having a chemist shop and a laboratory was sealed by enforcement team led by Tehsildar Haveli Anjum Khattak (KAS) for allegedly failing to enforce Covid-19 Appropriate Behavior including physical distancing norms and control the number of people entering it, officials said.
However, the medical shop owner who happens to be the President of the Chemist Association along with DDC member Loran met the District Development Commissioner Poonch Inder Jeet (KAS) and rendered an unconditional apology.
Besides all other member accompanying him accepted their mistake and assured that the same will not be repeated in future, the officials told GNS.
Later the Tehsildar Haveli allowed the operation after a written unconditional apology duly attested in presence of two independent witnesses was received, they said.
Apart from it, a fine of Rs 7000 was also realized from the violators in the Tehsil office by the administration.
Deputy Commissioner told reporters that people of Poonch should follow social distancing and take the necessary precautions. Else, he warned, Covid-19 might spread again. “Stringent actions shall follow in future if any complaint of markets being overcrowded are received.” (GNS)
