Srinagar, May 7: In continuation with the initiative started on December 21, 2021, during a medical camp and on request by the village elders during the ‘Day with Company Commander’, Army extended medical care to the villagers and conducted a Health Check up Camp at Jalindora village on Saturday.
“During the camp, Doctors from PHC Bagtore were made available at the village. Medicines for common illness, multivitamins and specific drugs for the villagers were distributed. Prescriptions for the unavailable medicines were prepared and given to the individuals”, informed a statement issued to Kashmir Glory.
“List of unavailable and essential medicines has been handed over to the Doctors, availability of which has been assured by them soon”, the statement read, adding, “the Doctors also emphasised upon the safety measures from new variant of Covid 19 during the interaction.”
“Elders blessed the Army team for this noble gesture.”
These endeavours in such a period of changing weather and temperature in this valley ensures that the bond between local populace and Army will remain ever strong, the statement remarked.
