Srinagar: Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari led Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party on Friday constituted a four-member committee in prelude to Lok Sabha elections.
The party President SM Altaf Bukhari, as per an order, a copy of which lies with Alfaaz-The Words, has named the party’s Vice President & former Cabinet Minister Chaudhary Zulfikar as one of the members of the high-profile committee.
Among the others, part of the Committee formed for preparing a (fresh) manifesto and campaigning guidelines include; party’s Vice President & District President Shopian Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir and Provincial President Jammu Manjit Singh.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt that the party has finalised the name of Mohammad Ashraf Mir, as its candidate from Central Kashmir for upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The name of Mir, as learnt, ‘awaits mere ceremonial announcement and it may be made public in coming days’.
