Israeli Strike Hits Students’ Hostel in Tehran, ‘Several from Kashmir Sustain Minor Injuries’

Srinagar: An Israeli strike has hit a students’ hostel, housing many from Kashmir, in Tehran amid ongoing conflagration in middle east between Israel and Iran.

Amplifying the incident on X, Member Parliament Agha Syed Ruhullah Mehdi wrote, “an Israeli strike hit Hujat Dost Ali hostel in Tehran, housing many Kashmiri students. Some sustained minor injuries.”

“I’ve written to EAM @DrSJaishankar urging their relocation within Iran or evacuation once the airspace opens,” the post, as per Alfaaz – The Words, reads.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Students’ Association also highlighted the incident, saying that some students sustained minor injuries.

“We have spoken to several of them, and while the injuries are not serious, the situation remains deeply concerning,” JKSA Convenor Nasir Khuehami said, adding, “the situation has left these students traumatized and terrified.”
