Due to the swift intervention by the Armed Forces, she was provided immediate care at an altitude of 12,000 feet, preventing further complications and stabilizing her condition until further treatment could be arranged.

At approximately 7 PM, Arsha Begum was brought to an Army post by local villagers. An Army medical representative administered first aid, applied 12 stitches and provided her with glucose.

She was kept under continuous observation, offering life support throughout the night. On the morning of 14 July 2025, she was transferred to Kandi for further medical treatment.

This quick and efficient response underscores the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of local communities, particularly in remote areas where medical access is limited.
