Anantnag; 03 Oct 2025:Anantnag police continuing its war against the Drug menace arrests a drug peddler and recovered huge consignment of Narcotic substance.
Police Station Srigufwara received an information through reliable sources that one Gh Nabi Bhat S/O Gh Hassan Bhat resident of Sehgund Saller has indulged in drug peddling and has hoarded large quantity of narcotic substance in his residential house. Accordingly case under relevant sections of NDPS Act got registered in police station Srigufwara and investigation taken up, a search team comprising of Srigufwara Police and Executive Magistrate concerned was constituted who carried out the search of the house. During search of the house about 24.700KG’s of Ganja was recovered from the residential house of said Gh Nabi Bhat which was seized on spot and accused arrested. Further investigation in the instant case continues.
