Rajouri, Mar 25 : A man died after accidentally slipping and falling into a ditch near Dera Gali area of Rajouri district on Wednesday, officials said.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, The deceased has been identified as Munshi Hussain, son of Mohammad Yunis, a resident of Nagrota Rajouri.
Officials said that his foot slipped, causing him to fall into a ditch, resulting in a severe head injury that proved fatal.
On receiving information, teams from Police and the Indian Army rushed to the spot and retrieved the body.
Police said the family of the deceased has been informed, and the body is being taken to the hospital for necessary medico-legal formalities. (KNC)
