KPDCL Announces Power Shutdowns Across Srinagar, Gulmarg

SRINAGAR, MAY 12: Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed that the Shutdown of GIS theed-Shalimar line will be observed due to which power supply to Theed, Chandpora, Dara, Darbagh, SKUAST, Tailbal, Arabal, Deewan Colony and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM to 03:30 PM on 14 May 2026.


Similarly, shutdown of Cheshamashahi-O/H Double Circuit TRC/Centaur line will be observed due to which power supply to 33 KV BB Cant Tap line, F1 and F2 Centaur and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM to 03:30 PM on 16 May 2026.


Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Bemina- BB Shah line and Bemina-Fatehkadal line will be observed due to which power supply to Basant Bagh, Maisuma, Naisarak, BB Shah, X-Change, KK Moulla, Nowpora, Bohri Kadal, Gousia Hospital, Car Parking, BB Shah, Babdemb, Bishembar Nagar, Dy. CM residence and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM t0 03:30 PM on 17 May 2026.
Further, shutdown of Habbak-Hazratbal line will be observed due to which power supply to Hazratbal, Umer Colony, Rangpora, BARC, Habbak, KU, Nigeen, Kanitar, NIT, Shrine and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM to 03:30 PM on 17 May 2026.


Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Wanganpora-Kawdara and Wanganpora SH Pora line will be observed due to which power supply to Kawdara, Nawakadal, Rajouri Kadal, Bachidarwaza, Zadibal, Firdous Colony, Mughal Masjid, Jamia Masjid and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 Aam to 03:30 PM on 20 May 2026.


Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Habbak-Lalbazar line will be observed due to which power supply to Lalbazar, Molvistop, Botshah Mohalla, Sikhbagh, Amdakadal, Botakadal, Baghwanpora and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM to 3:30 PM on 20 May 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV GIS Khanyar-Kathidarwaza line will be observed due to which power supply to Saidakadal, Kathidarwaza, Mir Behri, Naidyar, Pokhribal and adjoiing areas will be affected from 9 AM to 03:30 PM on 20 May 2026.


Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Pampore-Badamibagh line and 33 KV Pampore -Panthachowk line will be observed due to which power supply to Sonwar, Shivpora, Indranagar, Badamibagh, WSS Tangnar, Panthachowk, Lasjan, Summerbugh, Govt. Press, Flour Mills and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM to 03:30 PM on 21 May 2026.


Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Nehalpora-Gulmarg line will be observed due to which power supply to Tangmarg, Gulmarg, Kulhama, Mulgam, Khyber, Base Station, Cable Car, Chandil, Kralweth, Malpora, Ragawaliand and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM to 3 PM on 16 & 18 May 2026.
